Default Dishwasher won't start
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: GPDB998JC0
Age: 5 - 10 years

We have quite a few power outages and I think one may have zapped the control board?
Here is what happens- The touch pad seems to work and the display will show the cycle, however; the machine does not wash.
Is this a water valve problem or a control board problem? I am guessing a control board? The motor is fine and turns freely. The water valve does not look bad form the out side - no cracks, no leaking etc.
Thank you

Sounds like a bad control board, or a bad lid switch. Check for power coming out of the latch switches.
