My dishwasher won't drain, but when I unhook the hose that is hook to the bottom of the dishwasher, it will drain out into a pan. The hose isn't clogged, nor is the bottom of it clogged up. The pump costs 136.00, but I don't know if that is the problem, or if I should just buy a new one.

Does the motor run in the drain and washer cycles.

If you have broken a glass or something else your drain impeller may be damaged.
