my dishwasher will run through the cycles but will not drain. any suggestions?

Does the motor run in the drain cycle?

If the motor runs and the dishwasher runs you may have a broken drain impeller.

I do not have a cycle on there that is just drain. I have a dry cycle but nothing happens when I put it to that cycle.

Listen to your washer when it pumps up the water. You will hear the water splashing off the sides od tub. Is there a period when the splashing stops and it makes noise like it is trying to drain, if so=clogged drain hose.
