Default Dishwasher won't drain
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: KUDS01DJSS0
Age: 5 - 10 years

Voltage to drain Pump Motor reads 51 Volts; OHMS read 16.4 - 17; Motor leads BLUE/BLACK is L1; GRAY is NEUTRAL;
I'm not getting NEUTRAL from the Control Board.
Is this in the Board ? If so, do I replace PART# PS974101 only or do I have to include PART# PS393146 also ?
Thank you, James

With the dishwasher in the wash cycle check the voltage and see what you get.

It likely just the ps974101.

Default Kuds01jdss0

The 51 Volt reading was taken during the CANCEL / DRAIN.
Should I still check the Voltage during WASH Cycle or does it make a difference ?
Thanks James

Also this Voltage seems to occasionaly make the Drain Motor work, but it usually does not Purge during the Wash Cycle

If the motor is running on 51 volt in the wash cycle then this is like the voltage for the drain cycle too.

If the motor is not reversing then it is a problem with the motor not your control.

This model kitchen-aid has a seperate drain motor! It also uses a soil sensing pressure switch to remove dirty water during wash cycle. This switch enables the purge while seperate drain moter gets rid of dirty water. So do you still think its the control board? Thanks, James

It is hard to say if it is the motor or the control if it works sometime and not others.

Check to see if something is jamming the pump.

I would think it would be but check the rating on the motor.
