Dishwasher leaks on lower right side - looks like water level too high. How do I adjust it so the water level is lower? Have already replaced door seal and soap dispenser latch boot. Will buying a new water level switch and float help? First time post for me and thanks!

When you open the dishwasher door where is the water level?

Is it above the element or below and how far?

Check and make sure that the float is moving freely and you hear the click of the switch.
