Question Dishwasher water leak
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GSD5310D01AA
Age: 5 - 10 years

Hello Forum,

I have a GE Triton Profile Dishwasher that started leaking from the front Door bottom area.

I first thought that it was the door gasket and bootom gasket insert along with the left and right front corner black cove gasket whatever you call them?

So I called the partstore and ordered and installed all these gasket parts. Once I turned on the dishwasher the water leak was still there.

So I removed the front lower panels and it looks like the water is coming from between the plastic tub and somewhere between the metal pan liner under the plastic tub.

Anyone have any ideas as to where this water might be coming from? And if so what parts will I need to fix this leak.

Since I have just about rebuilt the unit now.

Brian

as a dishwasher only has splash shileds and not seals your problem is probely due to a faulty presure switch that controls the water level
the water level in a dishwasher only needs to cover the heating ellemint some times clearing any water in the presure tube will fix your problem to do this empty the machine and remove tube from presure switch and blow into it

Is the metal pan liner under the motor next to the floor?
