What is the temperature of the water going into the dishwasher?

Does the dishwasher drain all the water?

Are the spray arms turning?

Does the dishwasher sound different then it use to?

Have you broken anything in the dishwasher?

Here is a link to your dishwasher model GU2300XTKB0.

I've checked half way through cycle and the water temp is hot.
The water does drain completely.
The spray arms do turn.
The dishwasher does sound louder than it use to.
We haven't broken any dishes in the dishwaher.

I was hoping to fix the problem of the long time it takes to cycle, then see if the dirty dishes continue. To be clear, 80% of the dishes are clean, and about 20% have debrie on them.

This issue has been going on for over a month or two.

Thanks again for your comments.

There may be something stuck in the chopper area causing the debris.

The water temperature must be at least 125 degrees or the dishwasher will try to heat the water and this will increase the time the dishwasher runs.

Question Dishes are now clean - still takes 130 minutes to clean

I took the dishwaher apart, the chopper had become disengaged, and there was so much food and junk in the bottom it was bad. So I cleaned it all up and put it back together. The dishes are now very clean, however it took 130 minutes to go from normal wash to complete the rinse cycle. The 130 minutes did not include drying time.

I checked the water by running it for 1 minute from the tap, as recommended in the manual and it came in at just under 130 degrees.

How can I fix the lenght of time to wash. The normal wash cycle took about 1.5 hours and the other 40 minutes was for the rinse cycle. I had no other settings on.

Also, as a seperate issue, I notice that the shaft end, with 4 small paddles that turn the cutter is a bit worn. Can you give me the part number and price. Do I have to take the motor out of the dishwasher to replace this part.

Thank you,
Paul

How long should this dishwasher take to complete a normal cycle with drying time?

Paul

Most dishwasher take about an hour to do a full cycle.
