Default Dishwasher Rinse Aid Dispenser
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: Less than 1 year

I have had my dishwasher less than a year and the soap dispenser does not seem to be working. The level line has not budged at all. Is there anything I can do before I resort to taking a day off from work for a service call??

I have already adjusted the amount of rinse aid released into the final rinse to a higher setting without success.

Thanks for your help!!

Need a Model Number

Always a good idea to have it fixed under warranty
If you mess up you could void your warranty on the unit

If possible get someone else to stay at your place on repair day or press them to narrow down when a repair person will show up. If you are lucky you may even be able to get someone out in the evening. The service you get can vary widely from area to area. Press them to make sure that the parts will be in the truck.

As an example:
My daughters front door glass on her oven broke under warranty. She called it in and they wanted to send someone out without the part to look at it and get the Model Number. I mean this makes no sense at all but that was their policy. She went ape on them and the guy arrived with the part.

The part will also be covered...Inventory can be expensive if you carry every part. Most service men can't afford this. They try to carry the most common parts...
