Default Dishwasher old & new not draining... help!
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: n/a
Age: 1 - 4 years

had a 4 year old GE dishwasher that had about 3 inches of water in the bottom that was not draining. replaced it with a brand new GE dishwasher and now same problem. 3 inches of water in the bottom after cycle completes. both new & old dishwasher are not draining... what can i do or what could i check?

i do have a garbage disposal that is not new and has worked properly w/ the dishwasher for years.

thanks...

Did you put the new drain hose on too?

Maybe something in the drain hose or if it drains into the garbage disposal remove the drain hose and take a look there.

so what you're saying is you replaced the dishwasher and now the new one right of the box is doing the same thing, or you replaced it and now a while later its doing the same thing?
