Smile Dishwasher not working, please help!
Brand: Other
Model Number: CD622
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Candy CD622 dishwasher and it has stopped working properly. I turn the dial to start, the dial moves a little bit, the dishwasher fills up with water but then does nothing. It continuously stays on the same spot and the dial does not move around any further to continue the washing process. I don't know why it will not move any further, please help!!!

It may be that the water is not heating.

If the water is not heating then the time will not advance.

Check the temperature of the water.

If the timer is a mechanical timer the timer motor may have failed.

Because your dishwasher is a European model I don't have a breakdown.

I checked with an engineer today and he said the same thing. The timer seems to continue if I move the dial further on in the washing process, so think it must be the heater.

Many thanks for you help.
