Default Dishwasher not getting water or cleaning
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: PLD2560LCC1
Age: 1 - 4 years

My Frigidaire dishwasher seems to run through the cleaning cycles, and gets steamy and hot toward the end of the drying cycle (although there was a slight burning smell last time it went through, so I stopped the cycle). We've tested the inlet valve with an ohm meter and it was not showing infinity, so I'm assuming it's not that? The detergent dispenser appears to open and the correct time, but isn't rinsing out completely (maybe due to no water really getting in?) Dishes (and inside of dishwasher) are still dirty and end of cycles, and tops of glasses are dry and no water pooling, so no water is coming in.

Wondering if anyone knows if it could be the pump motor assembly or a different issue? The water tubes connected to it are not clogged, and there's no goop anywhere that seems to be obstructing anything.

I don't want to order a relatively expensive part and have it not be the right part, and we're trying to avoid having to pay someone to come out, since hopefully we can re-install the part(s) ourselves.

Please help! Thanks!!

Time the fill period by just listening to the water going in. Should be longer than 40 seconds. If not probably timer problem. If ok, you probably have a clogged screen in the water valve. Dishwasher must fill up to near the heating element.
