Default Dishwasher not fully draning
Brand: Other
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a Bosch dishwasher that ends the cycle with water in the pan.
The problem seems to be that debris is clogging the drain line.
If I disconnect the drain line from the air gap, the debris will clear and it will run freely. Alternatively if I just shake the drain line it seem to clear it.
I cannot see any tears or issues with the filters that should be filtering large pieces of debris.
I have thought the problem might be with the airgap itself and will change that tomorrow.

There should not be anything in the dishwasher that would clog the drain line.

If by shaking the drain hose you clear it there must be a back up from the sink.

If you have a air gap, and a garbage disposal, you might want to just run the drain hose to the garbage disposal. If you do that, you have to punch out the tad inside the tube, where you hook up the drain hose. Tom ApplianceEducator.com
