Age: 1 - 4 years

dishwasher does not drain after any cycle and it keeps running even after the door is open

There is a problem with one of the switches.

With your model and serial go on line and see if your dishwasher is on a recall from Maytag.

The recall was in the papers and on the news in February.

what switches ?where are they located?

They are located on the latch assembly, will probably need a new latch. Also pull dishwasher and clean out the pump and inspect for bad pump impeller.
