My dishwasher is not cleaning well as though not enough water spray, as well as depositing specks on dishes. The detergent is not all used up in the tray either though door opens.

Are there parts I can clean as I did in my dishwasher in France last year?

With all of its fuzzy logic, my IntelliSense Plus has never washed the dishes that well. And generally deposits specks. Other family members have similar Maytags and theirs work better.
