I really don't know much about dishwashers but I’m trying to see if I can fix the problem that mine is having. It has been making a grinding sound while in the washing cycle. The sound comes in and out as it washes but for the most part it is constant. When I tried to see if it was anything that I could see I did find that the ARM SPRAY LOW ASM bottom medal part was bend down and was preventing it to turn. I know I need a new one but temporarily fixed it to see if it helped with the sound. No such luck. Thanks in advance for any help.

There is likely something down in the pump making the grinding noise.

Have you broken and glass lately?

You will have to take the sump screen out and check to see if there is anything in the pump making the grinding sound.
