Unhappy Dishwasher leaks
Brand: Other
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a RCA dishwasher.
model #psd850s-55
When the unit drains it leaks.
The leaks seemds to be coming out of the motor area.
I checked the internet and it seems the tube seal is at fault.or maybe the entire assembly. Can I just change the seal or do I have to change the entire assembly?
Is their a procedure for removal.

Thank You

You can replace the parts of the dishwasher.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model psd850s-55.

This should also help with the disassembly of the dishwasher.

You have to start on the inside of the dishwasher.

You probably have a bad seal in the pump. Do not run too long with it leaking or you will ruin the motor bearings. You will have to remove dishwasher and remove motor/pump. At the pump end remove the plastic screen, left hand thread, then remove impeller, right hand thread. The seal is right in back of the impeller.
