Default Dishwasher flashing "PF"
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GSD4930
Age: More than 10 years

The electronic display on the front of the dishwasher continues to flash "PF". It will disappear when you push the reset button, but lately, the dishwasher does not complete the full cycle. It will stop and the "PF" will flash again. Is this a part that can be replaced by a do-it-yourselfer? What part would be needed? The diswasher was new in 10/96, and has been gently used.

Default

The PF means that the dishwasher is losing power.

This could be in the control panel or it could be something in your home.

For a list of the part for your dishwasher can you please supply the rest of your model number.

It is found on the inside of the dishwasher where the door closes.

The full model # is GSD4930X66WW. We have a separate circuit breaker for the dishwasher and that has been reset several times, so we don't think that is the problem. Any help you can give us would be appreciated.
