Default Dishwasher fills and won't cycle
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FDBB944CS0
Age: 1 - 4 years

Two days ago the hose on our dishwasher broke. It was rather sudden. During the final rinse/drain cycle I heard a strange noise and found the kitchen flooded (not sure how long it had been broken). The hose had what looked like a scrape or maybe a burn (no smell though). It was to a large area and obviously not a crack. Wondering now if the motor or something else that might get hot burnt it. Either way, we replaced the hose and now the dishwasher will fill (the soap cup will even open) but the arms won't move. It finishes the cycle with draining but alas the dishes of course have not been washed as the water has only sat in the bottom. The light on the front indicates clean (green) so I don't think it's electrical in that sense.

Ideas?

Thanks in advance.

It sound like the ball in the base may be stuck.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model FDBB944CS0.

With out seeing the hose it is very hard to say what happen to it.
