 Dishwasher fails after wash water loads Brand: Kenmore Model Number: 665 16012403 Age: 1 - 4 years
After the program is started, the dishwasher will load the initial water needed to run the wash cycle. At this point the cycle stops and a grinding noise starts. We turn it off, however we are able to go to the drain position and pu,mp out the water thats being held in the bottom for the wash cycle.
It does not appear to have a bad pump as it will pump out water, unless it has separate pumps for the wash and discharge cycles. It almost sounds to me like either something is stuck in the wash cycle or the wash cycle relay is damaged or stuck.
Are you able to provide to me any help to solve this problem.
