Default Dishwasher dead please help!
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: kudi24se
Age: 5 - 10 years

Control panel will not light up at all or respond, house circuit breaker is ok. Should I replace the control panel or the mother board type circuit board. Machine worked fine until 2 days ago, no symptoms. Checked door switch etc, and all appears fine. Both electronic parts that I suspect (above)are about $140.00 each and I don't know which one is more likely to be bad. Thank you for the help.

Check the fuse on the control board.

PartSelect #: PS382817

You could also check the water float switch to make sure it's not stuck up.

Here is a photo of a dishwasher with a spoon stuck under the float.
Sometimes they stick from soap build up under them.
