Default Dishwasher - botched repair and need help
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDBF750AWB
Age: 1 - 4 years

The handle/latch on my diswasher broke. I ordered the parts from easyappliance parts.com (first class service, first class operation). They arived quickly and I proceeded to install them. Installing the new parts required removal of the door panel and removal of all the electrical connections in the panel. I labeled all parts and connections to indicate where how to reassemble. After installing the new parts and reassembling, the display that used to show the minutes left in the cycle now displays EE. Help please, someone!!!

You probably busted or missaligned one or two of the microswitches.

Thanks for the response. I've double checked. All connections are tight and the micro switches on the lock seem to be installed ok. The tape connector to the control panel is in tight. It's not twisted or turned so I assume it is connceted as intended. The other connecters are on tight and in the places my markings show that they came from. The cables to these connectors seem to be in the same postion and have the same bends and curves as before. Do you have any clues for finding out what is connected improperly? The dishwasher seems to run. Could I run the dishwasher and see what doesn't work? Or would that mess something else up?

Look for the service sheet tucked in somewhere back of kick panel or under dishwasher. This will explain error codes.
