my dishwasher pumps out the water ,but one day latter my tub is full of water

sometimes the water fill valve,( which is like solenoid. ) will weap water slowly into the tub. the water in the tub will be fresh clean water if this is the case. if the water is not so clean it could be a bad check valve in the drain hose and is coming in from the sink drain. check those out. if it is not there and then a day later it's there this in the only places it can come from. only problem is if it is the fill valve that is leaking it could continue to leak and over fill the tub because the safety float only cuts electricity to the valve. and there for won't stop a leaking valve.
