Default Dishlex Global 300
Model Number: global 300
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a problem with my dishwaher tripping the circuit breaker in my house when it goes into the wash cycle. It appears to do it when the water heats up and I have been told the problem is with the heating coil and all I need to do is replace it.

The problem is I dont have any schematics or repair manuals on this dishwasher and have no clue where the heating coil is located.

If there is anyone here who knows where it is and how I can get to it, I would greatly appreciate the help.

Thanks in advance guys

Check in the control panel or the bottom panel for the schematic on the dishwasher.

If the heating element is not visible you will find it in the pump housing under the dishwasher.

Sorry I don't have any information on the Global brand.

Sheila,

Thanks for that, I pulled the diskwasher out and had a look at where the bolt inside the dishwasher disappeared. Found a metal plate that screwed off, I opened it and there was the other end of the element.

I disconnected the element and ran the dishwasher through a normal cycle and it completed the cycle so its definately the element. I am going to go purchase another one hopefully today.

Thanks for your help again.

Default Replacing the element

Hi,
I have a Dishlex Global 300 dishwasher and recently the dishwasher is tripping our electrical safety switch. I have worked out that it's most likely the element because it happens as a wash cycle is commencing and not with a simple rinse, and therefore it should be replaced.

I'd like to tackle the install myself, it looks fairly easy and I would like to know if there is anyone who has done this before that could explain in simple terms what I need to do, and if there is anything I need to be aware of.
Thanks

Donks
