Question Desperately need panel end plates for VIKING DW
Brand: Other
Age: More than 10 years

Hi I bought a house with a small (18" wide) Eaton Viking dishwasher. I have done several repairs to it including getting and changing the door gasket. Unfortunately I have managed to break the plastic end plates for the control panel. It is these end plates that secure the panel to the door so without them (the end plates) in good shape the whole control panel is in danger of falling off.
I can't find these black plastic plates..
they have parts numbers..92931-2c and 92931-2c L
I have searched the internet and found NOTHING...can anyone here help.?
Thanks in advance.
Kenora
oh! I can't find a model number anywhere on the DW.

Without a Model Number you are pretty well out of luck

Grab your parts and start making the rounds to your local appliance repair shops
You never know what they have in the back room
A trip to the local dump may also strike gold

Other than that grab a case of beer, put on your thinking cap and come up with a jiggery-pokery to hold your panel in

Good luck from a fellow canuck

The guy at Appliance World just rolled his eyes so I am trying to McGyver something. I went to Princess Auto and picked up a tube of heat activated plastic repair...I tried it and the heat deformed the part....aaaaaaaaaaaaagh!...so onto plan b- I got out my marine epoxy (2 part) and used some plastic strips as reinforcement and then poured in a sh------t load of epoxy...when it dries I'm going to epoxy the thing onto the panel and then the panel onto the DW.
Unfortunately the only DW that fits in this little space is an 18" unit...they are VERY EXPENSIVE compared to the standard size (24" I believe)...I could pick up a 24" from Costco for about $350 and have a way better machine but it'll be at lleast twice that for this stupid little one.
And hi back at yah!
