Unhappy Debris stuck in dishwasher
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: du9000xr4
Age: 5 - 10 years

Part of a mug fell off and made its way pass the guard and down into the abyss. I can hear the debris grind in the bowl, but don't know how to get into it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Remove the spray arm and then take the screws out of the top of the housing.

Then remove the wash impeller.

Then remove the four screws holding the upper housing.

Remove the housing and you should find the broken pieces.

Check the impeller for damage.

If they have damage replace them.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model du9000xr4.
