Angry D/w Cycle Problem
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: GSD3230Z01WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

9 year old d/w starts and fills but just keeps running and timer does not advance. I was just going to change timer but was told that timers 'rarely' go on this model. I have also smelled something that could be burnt plastic??/

Check the selector button in the front and make sure the sani-wash has not been selected if you have this on your model.

If every thing else seems to be fine with the dishwasher then I would think it was the timer.

Check the dishwasher over to see where the smell of burnt plastic is coming from.
