Default Cycles all messed up
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: Whirlpool LST7233AQ0
Age: 5 - 10 years

The cycles are all messed up, the longest cycle for the dirtiest clothes will not rinse or spin, we are forced to use the permanent press cycle as it is the only one that will get the clothing dry at all.
When we use other cycles we finish up with tub full of water logged clothing

any help would be great.
I also noticed a small drip at top of the rubber lining, which concludes shortly after rinse cycle

Thanks

Just a guess but the timer selector switch is a prime suspect. Here's link to your model diagram.
