Can you please provide me with your model number?

It is located in side where the door closes.

hi shiela, the model number is a hygena AHY8101.Ive found that it doesnt get past the point of heating the water, ive got 240v to the element on each terminal but the waters cold.the resistence of the eliment is 25 ohms when the metres set to 200 not sure if this is ok or not.if i move the timer on it works ok until the next heating cycle, then sticks again.thanks

start with figuring out why you got 240v anywhere in a 120v circuit then if you've got power to the element but it's not hot it's bad simple as that. Also the water should not be cold it should be hot water ocming in to the dishwasher

If you are getting voltage to your element and it is not heating then your element must be opened.

Can you tell me the wattage of the element?

We do not have any information on the Hygena make.

Can you tell me who make the Hygena line of white goods?
