Default Crosley Washer Spin Cycle Problem

I have a Crosley CW22B7 washer (made by Maytag) that's about 10 years old. Recently the last spin cycle has quit working. It happened shortly after we had a bout with the load being unbalanced and the washer banging around considerably.

Currently the washer will proceed as normal through the first wash/spin cycle but the last spin cycle before it's done has stopped working. I can hear it clicking through the cycle as I stand in front of the washer but the washer will not spin at all on that last cycle. We have a spin cycle adjustment knob Normal/Fast, Gentle/Fast, Gentle/Slow and regardless of the spin cycle selection I still cannot get it to spin out the water. The only way to do so is to take it back to that first spin cycle and run it there.

Is the problem the timer?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If the washer is spinning on the other cycles then it is your timer.

Can you please verify your model number?

It seem to be missing the end characters.

I can then provide you with a link to your parts.

Apparently the user manual didn't have all of the characters from the model number. Here is the model number from the inside of the knob dashboard:

CW22B7V, Rev 10, Serial # 10634924MW

Your problem does sound like the timer.

Here is a link to your washer model CW22B7V.
