During the wash cycle the timer stays in ome spot until I advance it manually. It always is in the same spot. I changed the timer unit today and it still sticks at the same spot. After I manually advance the knob it completly finishes the cycle. What should I check next? The timer unit I installed is WD21X10078.
Thanks,
Craig

What is the temperature of the water in the dishwasher?

If it is not 120 degrees or above the timer will stall and the dishwasher will try to heat the water with the heating element.

Check in your wiring diagram.

The timer that you have installed is the proper one for your dishwasher.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model GSD3435F00WW.
