I have a Kenmore Dishwasher model #66515762000 and the control panel will blink washing when the door is closed. No other touch buttons respond and obviously the unit does not function. I can only assume that my son who has a tendency to spill water on the counter top has somehow got water into the door and shorted out either the control board or the door switches. Can someone give me a way to determine if it is the board or the door switch that needs to be replaced?

The control panel is getting power to it which tells me that the door switches are working.

It would be the control panel or the key pad.

Check the connection between the control panel and the key pad.
