Default Control Board
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: MDB8951AWS
Age: 1 - 4 years

My dishwasher will fill with water and then stop at that point.
After reading problems with others, it seems to be the control board.
It does this intermittently and then runs normally for weeks.

I have checked out new contrl boards and they show a series 10 but
my washers serial is 35175828JX which would be a series 35

Can you tell me if the series 10 will work with this model?
If not where can I find the right board.

Thanks

Default

It could be the control board or it could be a switch or a loose wire.

There is no other series listed so that means there have been on changes made and the part are good for all series from 10 and above.

Here is a link your dishwasher model MDB8951AWS.
