Cool Ccarlson
Brand: Roper
Model Number: wu3000X
Age: 5 - 10 years

The dishwasher will not fill with water. I checked the overflow protector it appears to be working. I checked the water supply it is working to the water intake valve. I removed the water intake valve and checked the screen which was clean. I checked the hose from the intake to the dishwasher bottom and it is not blocked. Could the solenoid on the intake valve be bad? Should I order the intake valve and replace? Thanks, CCarlson

If you are getting power to the solenoid and it is not opening you will need a new valve.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model wu3000X.
