Default Blown fuse
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a Whirlpool dishwasher and in the last 6 weeks it's blown 3 fuses. I've read your suggestions with simular problems and I tried air drying in case the motor and heating element were coming on at the same time and blowing the fuse, the fuse blew anyway. I was wondering if buying a new card ($150.00) would solve the problem.

I would check the motor current draw first. If higher than 5 amps you may have a bad motor. Also, check for a stiking motor start relay.
