Default Bad case of hardwater buildup
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: PDB1600AWN
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a dishwasher with a bad case of hardwater buildup and am trying to pull apart pump assembly. Need to remove Part 11, discharge housing assembly (UPR) but not sure of how it is attached. Is it pressed on and if so what type of puller do I need and where would I purchase? Are there online repair manuals / diagrams available? Also would periodic soak with CLR to remove lime buildup be harmful to washer parts and seals?

Thanks for any help, or suggestions.

To my knowledge there are no online repair manuals.

A book store or library may have something that will help.

I can provide you with a online parts breakdown of your machine.

I know that CLR can be use on many things but I would read the label very carefully.

Here is a link to your dishwasher model PDB1600AWN.
