In most washers the water level is just under the heater but not high enough to activate the float switch
If the wash is cavitating and it is not doing a decent job there is a good chance it is caused by the water level. Since you have already checked the unit's filters.
Just add some hot water to the unit after it fills, if the cavitation stops then odds are it is a water level problem.
Your water valve has a filter screen in it, this may be partially plugged.
To clean it properly you may have to take the valve apart
Do not run the unit without the screen It is there to prevent crud getting into the valve and holding it open which would result in a flood. |
