I just installed a new ice maker and it won't work. It will produce ice if water is manually added. What can I do to get the refrigerator to add the water? The water in the door is operating.
Got the same problem. I have those white trays that came with the fridge. Every time I use up the ice, I have to add my own damn water. I've got better things to do and I don't need this crap!
Boy's Boy's Boy's First thing you need to check is the water tube that puts the water into the icemaker, look and see if it is frozen up. The second thing it would be is the water valve. If you need me I can be reached at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
