Can anyone tell me how to reattach a power cable that was cut from the AC unit. The unit works but I dont have the power cable. thanks

1. Turn off the breaker.
2. Pry the old power cable from the hands of the crispy, burnt corpse that cut it.
3. Call the coroner.
4. Remove the old cable and throw it in the garbage, or evidence bag.
5. Purchase a new cable and attach it from the AC unit.
6. Remove any questionable friends with wire cutters from the room.
7. Plug it in.
8. Turn on the breaker.

You have three wires going to the unit. Usually one is green-ground, one is red and one is black.
You have three terminals where the heavy wire originally attached. Green(ground) goes in the middle and red on one side and black on the other(do not do this with power on!.)
