Default Mixer Repair
Brand: KitchenAid
Model Number: k45sswh
Age: 1 - 4 years

my mixer has started to sound louder when it works. Also, it appears that the motor may be locking up. It starts to turn, but then it slows down without changing the speed and sometimes will completely stop. I don't use my mixer for heavy items, just normal things, for example: mashing potatoes, mixing cakes, cookies, etc. Are there adjustments on the settings that need to be changed? Or am I going to have to send it off for repair?
