Default LG AC - fan and compressor won't run...
Brand: Other
Model Number: LWHD1800R
Age: Less than 1 year

I have an LG LWHD1800R. It is a 230 V unit. I installed it two weeks ago and it seemed ok. We have not used it much since installing it, since it is not so hot right now. My wife ran it today, and for a few hours it worked.

At some point today, it reached the desired temperature, shut the compressor off and hasn't turned on since. Right now, I can turn the unit on. It powers up, does not trip the breaker, allows me to use the remote control and changes the display. What it will not do is turn on the fan or the compressor. Does anyone have any ideas as to the cause of this behavior?

I am wondering if there is a reset switch, or a fuse or somethign similar that needs to be reset inside the unit. Does anyone know of such a thing?

Thanks,
Mike

Sorry I don't have any information on the LG air conditioners.

It may give you some tip in your owners manual.
