Age: Less than 1 year

To All:
My AC window unit has recently been making a noise, as if something was touching the fan. Then a few days later, my unit starts to make a loud noise, stops cooling & just sounds like it was going to blow if i didn't unplug it. I hit the reset button & left it alone for a few hours. Has anyone experienced this problem?! any help is greatly appreciated.

Probably something blocking the condensing fan in the outside of the unit. If a large and heavy unit, usually you can cut some of the vent uprights to get at the problem.
