Default Hampton Bay HBLG180 squeeks like crazy
Help! Can anyone tell me an easy way to stop the squeeking from my window unit. I sprayed some WD-40 on the thing that rotates behind the fins. It sounds like a loose belt, do I have to take the whole thing apart and replace it, or tighten it, or can I just spray some more WD 40 on it? Thanks, I can't stand the noise!

If it is the bearing in the motor that is squeaking the fan motor will have to be replace.

You will have to see what is making the noise.
