Default Frigidaire freezing up

have a +-5yrold frigidaire 3.5 ton compressor installed by previous homeowner. Coil/furnace does not match compressor in size. After running ac for any length of time I have to go out and use waterhose to thaw it out and I run fan to help in attic. Please help thanks

You need someone to check the CFM out put of the blower. Also is filter clean ? and if a belt drive fan coil is the belt loose ?

oh yea it is a heat pump does that change anything?

still learning how to use this forum , it is a heat pump, would that make a difference with your reply?
