Default Coils icing over in freezer
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRS26H5ASB9
Age: 1 - 4 years

Noticed my side by side unit not cooling in fridge and not freezing in freezer. Took back panel off in freezer and coils were completely encased in ice. Fan above coils is working. I defrosted the coils with hair dryer and turned unit back on. Will this fix the problem or do I need to replace parts? Has only been turned back on for about 30 minutes now, how long will it take to notice if it is cooling again? Thanks.

First off, this is the "Air Conditioner" repair section.
That being said you should read Refrigerator Repair Guide: How To Test the Defrost Timer - ACME HOW TO.com
