[u29ALS09]

I have an AIR intact and it started to make a lite rattle noise about a day ago I figure it was the intake screen cover. But todaty I heared a loud bang and now the whole this rattles and viberates and it is very loud. It still works fine and cools the house. Biut what the heck is going on? Is it a belt or the intake motor? I though it maybe. The out side unit is fine and the unit in the atic seems quiet but the part between the atic is making this noise.

Ideas?

With out hearing or seeing it it is hard to say what is going on.

It could be a bearing in the motor that is going bad.
