Default AC window unit louver redirector?

This may be a silly question to ask; but is there any way I can redirect the air flow of my AC unit? Let me explain; the unit is in the kitchen and I have the louvers turned as far to the right as they can. But most of the air remains in the kitchen. Does there exist a device that I can attach to the vents to redirect most of the air into the next room?

Go to your favorite hardware store and purchase a suitable HVAC duct part and some tape . . .

It may not look wonderful, but it might do the job.
